9 year old twins

I was teaching in Budgewoi NSW 1975 and 9 year old twins were sent to stay with their grandmother while their house was rebuilt and services restored to Darwin, as their house was destroyed in Cyclone Tracey.
One's name was Ashley, I can't remember the other. If they still live in Darwin, I'd love to catch up. I now live in Humpty Doo. Maureen Barratt (Miss Blackford) mmbarratt@gmail.com

Budgewoi school

I was student at Budgewoi, I remember the twins. And somewhere I have a school class photo with Them - I think one of them is in it. They both had blond hair, can’t remember their names and more I think a lady teacher in photo. The 1974 storm that followed was the biggest swell I’ve ever seen. Cheers Phil
