Brown Dog Ticks Wanted- 50 cents per tick paid!

Hi there, does anyone know of any brown dog tick infested properties in the Darwin area? I need to collect 12,000 live, adult, un-engorged brown dog ticks for research.

They must be collected from an infested yard or building rather than from a dog. I am in Darwin at the moment (until Saturday 14th March) to collect ticks and finding it difficult to locate infested properties.

Lyme disease research

I am in the early learning stages (6 weeks in) of Lyme or tick borne like disease (aware now that these can be contracted by numerous bitting insects other than ticks, so fairly high spread rate I would assume).
I was bitten by suspected tick in Feb 2018 on a property in Virginia NT 0835.
1 week following bite symptoms began, with many more following over the past 10 months. I knew very little about Lyme or tick borne diseases at that time...Only thing I was aware of was that our govy and medical system didn't acknowledge it being an issue here and still don't, so not easy or cheap for testing and or treatment...
