Yesterday I caught a 40kg barramundi at rapid creek. I was using a golden bomber. Took me 2 hours to bring the barstad up. I will post a picture as soon as my photos get developed.

Biggest Barra in the world??

You know Mate I know you catch some big fish up there in good old Darwin and good luck to you.

However down in Karumba, although it gets teh juices going we don't get to excited about a 40KG Barra.

We do get soem really big ones down in karumba.

But 40kg world record ??

I caught my biggest salmon on the river Test in Hampshire England it was 16lbs cock and have not been able to better it , my congrats to the fisherman and his barramundi when you grass a fish that size you don't give a toss who believes you it is just sour grapes that they didn't catch him I live in Ireland now but I haven't been able to better my salmon, I am only sorry I wasn't with him. So tight lines and bent rods

I caught this barra once it was like 2 meters long and it took about 3 hours to get in. No photo though, just trust me it happened
