This popular blue water fishing competition is open to the general public, and is a great family fishing activity.

The Coopers Blue Water Classic (CBWC) 2016 is limited to 250 competitors and 3 various boating categories:

Cat 1: Boats over 6.00m
Cat 2: Boats between 5.500m to 5.999m
Cat 3: Boats under 5.499m

CBWC is a unique experience with great prizes and the best time for memories to be made on and off the water when we all gather for the presentation night where the final results are made public and the winners presented with their bounty

I have entered this comp for the last 8 years and its getting better each year. The concept is so different to other comps as you can bring one fish of each species nominated, it makes you think how you are going to fish. The prizes are great and the trohpies are so different, a photo of yourself holding the fish that you weighed in.

Well done DTBC I will be there again this year.
