Do It Yourself & Get Crafty workshop with art and cultural outcomes are organized by Darwin Community Arts.
The sessions are held in the Underground car park of the Malak Community Square on Tuesday nights (6-8pm) and are an opportunity for the community to learn basic trade skills including repairing, maintaining bicycles, fixing, building and painting things and using basic hand tools.
The group is recycling old fridges to use as planter bays for the community garden. So come along, make friends and get involved in your community.
This is a free workshop, Eagle Boys Pizzas are served and RSVPs are essential, we hope to see you there. Please let us know that you wish to attend on 8945 7347 or paul.wyatt@darwincommunityarts.org.au
The first community shed project established in the Northern Territory is coordinated by Darwin Community Arts and funded from the Australian Federal Government through the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
