The Freds Pass Rural Show is an annual event providing a regional focus on productivity, enterprise and community.
Held at Freds Pass Reserve, approximately 31kms South from Darwin City.
2015 will see the Show celebrate its 36th year – a milestone for an event which commenced as a school fete.
Friday, May 15th: Equestrian Events only
Saturday, May 16th: Gates open 9 am – 12:30 am
Sunday, May 17th: Gates open 9 am – 3 pm
Official Opening Ceremony/Grand Parade: Saturday, 16th May at 2pm
The aim of the Show is to provide a forum to showcase the diverse range of industries including pastoralism, agriculture, horticulture, mining and manufacture as well as to provide an opportunity for community groups to hold their annual fundraising.
The Show is a benefit to many community organisations who assist to ensure that everyone has a wonderful time at the Show. These include the Lions Club, Bees Creek and Durack Primary Schools and Howard Springs Scout Group to name a few.
With over 200 exhibitors and about 20,000 through the gates each year, the Show continues to be a much anticipated event on the Territory Calendar.
ADMISSION:
ADULTS: $15.00 (18 yrs +)
JUNIORS:$5.00 (6 yrs to 17 yrs inclusive)
CHILDREN: FREE (5 yrs and under as of 01 May 2012)
FAMILIES $40.00 (2 Adults, 3 Children 17 and under as of 01 May 2012)
