by Pamela Douglas (prev. Perkins)
(Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia)
Best time of my life was when I lived in the Northern Territory -Royal Darwin Hospital & living in the Staff Village.
I had initially gone to Alice Springs as I was in debt due to throwing myself a 50th. birthday party and I knew I could get a lot of money quickly if I worked for a few months at A.S.H.
(I had also recently returned to Australia after being tortured in Argentina in December, 2001).
After A.S.H. I returned to Victoria where there were a lot of problems for me which culminated when I did a shift a Maryborough Hospital, central Victoria.
I ended up returned to the N.T. and Darwin and loved Darwin. I ended up being tortured again by mediums from the Brazil government - this is very genuine and true. I am now classed as old and live without electricity, working shower and toilet, cooking facilities, heating, etc. in central Victoria.
I am in evidently a legal quagmire. I am hoping something will be done before the FIFA finals in Brazil and the Olympics in Brazil also. I have no rights and am treated very badly. I loved Darwin very much.
I remember all the girls on Ward 4A R.D.H. also on other wards (I ended up working full time on permanent nurse pool).
All I can do now is go to the U.S. Consulate café in Melbourne every Monday hoping the U.S. will help me. I am a genuine person.
