We were living in New Zealand at the time of Cyclone Tracy and were just organising to have a house built, a Lockwood House.
These houses were designed to withstand the earthquakes in New Zealand, the building company showed us photographs of a street in Darwin where all the houses were destroyed except a number of Lockwood homes that appeared undamaged.
I would be interested to see those photos again and often wonder if the Lockwood Houses were part of the reconstruction if the city.
