Nightcliff community needs local bank service.

Nightcliff community is no different from any other - it simply needs a convenient banking service.

I guess that is stating the obvious, the reason I'd like to see a community bank established here is to help support the community with the funds the bank will provide over time for local organisations and charities.

Too much is simply ripped out of local communities by all sorts of huge companies which put nothing back into the communities they profit from. It will be good to know some of the profits from the bank are used locally.

Local bank needed

I definately think a local bank is needed because the public bus system is very limited & I don't drive.

The idea of a bank retuirning money to the community is also a strong reason for me shifting over to a community bank style.

Bring it on Bendigo!!!

I could never understand why they closed the NAB here - it will be good to get a bank back.
